Between Sound
and Word

About the workshop
An intimate, intensive workshop for songwriters and instrumentalists who want to consciously shape the arrangements of their original songs and understand how they work — harmonically, rhythmically and lyrically.
Working on songs written by the songwriters, you develop the ability to build form, tension and groove within a band. You learn how your instrument co-creates the whole — how to consciously shape harmony, dynamics and structure, working on living material in real time.
The workshop culminates in a professional audio and video recording of the resulting songs — participants document the outcome of their work in a recording that is the artistic summary of the whole creative process.
A rare, shared experience in which individual talent is transformed into a work of collective art.
