About us
A modern music school grounded in the standards of Berklee College of Music. In Warsaw since 2014.
Our mission
Music Hub Academy is a place to develop your musical passions and dreams — open to everyone, regardless of age or skill level.
Our curriculum, developed based on materials and experience from Berklee College of Music, combines the best elements of contemporary music — improvisation, accompaniment, performance freedom — with classical music tradition: theory, sight reading, harmony.
We move freely between genres: from classical to jazz. We listen closely to our students' preferences and open their musical world to new experiences. We broaden horizons — not just musical ones. We never forget that everyone has wings.

How we teach

Berklee College of Music curriculum
We teach to the standards of Berklee College of Music — one of the world's most respected contemporary music institutions — using their books and resources. We combine improvisation, accompaniment and performance freedom with music theory, sight reading and harmony.

Individual approach
We match teachers to each student's needs and abilities. We listen closely to preferences and open their musical world to new experiences. We move freely between genres — from classical to jazz.

Stage experience
Two formal concerts a year on the big stage with full sound. Every student — from the youngest to adults — can invite loved ones and gain stage experience. Because music is meant to be played live.

ABRSM exams
Official ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) partner since 2020. We prepare students for examinations by the British board of music schools.
How we teach
music at Music Hub
We draw on the best global standards in contemporary music education, shaped in part by Berklee College of Music — one of the most respected music institutions in the world. Our approach is built on freedom of expression, creativity, and a practical understanding of music — not just reproducing it.
At Music Hub we combine modern teaching methods with an individual approach to each student. We work in the spirit of contemporary-music pedagogy — where expression, confidence, and the joy of creating matter as much as technique.
We listen to our students — to their tastes, emotions and needs. We help them discover their own style and gradually broaden their musical horizons.
Because for us, music education isn't just learning — it's an experience that stays with you for life.
In our classes
We develop conscious playing and singing technique, using up-to-date methods of working with body and sound
We teach improvisation and musical freedom — students don't just reproduce music, they truly understand it
We move between styles — from classical to jazz and contemporary music
We introduce harmony, ear training and sight-reading in a natural, practical way
We encourage creating — your own interpretations, arrangements and first compositions

Music and the brain
Brain research has shown that different activities activate different areas of the brain. When solving math problems, part of our left hemisphere works; when reading, the right. However, when listening to music, neurons in both hemispheres are active.
But the real revolution happens when we create music. Both hemispheres become fully active, along with the bridge between them, indicating remarkable cooperation during playing. When playing most instruments, our motor skills differ between right and left hands. We also combine analytical tasks like reading sheet music with creative ones like expressing emotions through performance.
There is no other known activity that engages the entire brain to such a degree. There is no better exercise for the brain than playing an instrument.
Why is this hemispheric cooperation so important? Because it is responsible for our creativity. And creativity is the most scarce skill in our education system. It is also the trait employers seek most. Whatever we do professionally, creativity helps us do it better.
